The Bridges

A Perth classic for pre-season training and fitness lovers alike, the Bridges circuit, which is bookended by the Narrows and the Causeway, offers up an incredible setting for a run with a backdrop of city views and the Swan River. Run from one bridge to the other, take on one section, or do the full loop.

The Windan Bridge Loop

Starting at The Windan Bridge in East Perth, and encompassing the Causeway Bridge at the other end, the loop follows the Swan River past Trinity College, over Herrison Island, along the Burswood Gold Course. Totalling 6.2km in length, for the serious runner, the loop can be added to the Bridges circuit.

Lake Monger

Sweeping through the city suburbs of Wembley, Leederville and Glendalough, the Lake Monger track is a 3.3km loop, which is nice and flat, and perfect for runners of all levels. If you want to put a few more clicks on the board, just go around again.

The Perth Coast

Take advantage of the path stretching along the coast from Cottesloe up to Hillarys, either completing a section between beaches or tackling the whole 25kms. Scarborough Beach is the closest beach to halfway and for those looking to mix in a bit of leisure, there are plenty of cafes along the way.

The Zamia Trail

Taking off at the Reabold Hill car park at Bold Park and measuring in at a 5km total distance, this loop features views across the coast to Rottnest Island and Garden Island, and toward the city with the CBD and Darling Ranges providing the scenery.
