How are you looking after your one life and one body?
I look after my one life and one body by starting from the inside out. A positive mindset equals positive direction, I really put an emphasis on education and awareness of self. I also value my nutrition as the fuel to my daily activities, again awareness is the key as we need to understand the effects food has on our body and energy. Exercise is vital to attaining and maintaining a body that can function in daily activities and help stave off premature ageing.
What’s your favourite way to exercise?
My favourite exercise is core work utilising mobility and functionality exercises. The core of the body is the most important area to maintain strength and mobility as everything comes from the core.
What’s your daily go-to health habit?
Breakfast time! Break-Fast means that after 8 or so hours of not eating or drinking during night and sleep, it is so important to give yourself a great start to the day by fuelling your body and mind in the right way.
I start with 1/2 fresh lemon squeezed into a cup of warm water, a great detox and cleanse for the body. I then make sure I have a breakfast comprising of carbohydrates, protein and fats.
What’s your current health goal?
My current health goal is to maintain and continue to improve upon my physical and mental health for my sporting career of boxing as I am now the current world champion in my weight division.
How do you relax?
I relax by spending time with my wonderful fiance, family and friends, I enjoy yoga and mediation to take a break from the gym work, I am also a huge fan of the NBA and take time out to enjoy the sport at the highest level when I can.
What motivates you to be healthy?
I am motivated to be healthy for my own desires in life, I also understand that I am a role model to other friends, family, other athletes, gym members and fans. Motivation is the key to achieving your goals. If the motivation and desire is strong enough you will endure any challenge to achieve your goals.
